Programs

Curling Canada offers a variety of coach education programs to serve the needs of all curlers within the system.

The education programs are specifically tailored to the needs of the level/type of athlete who they want to work with. 

Stages of Training and Certification within the National Coaching Certification Program:
A coach is described as:

  • In Training” – when a coach has completed some of the required training for a context;
  • Trained” – when a coach has completed all required training for a context;
  • Certified” – when a coach has completed all evaluation requirements for a context.

Member Assocation Coach Education

Curling Canada relies on its Member Associations and their expert Coach Developers to deliver training and evaluations for the following workshops – Club Coach, Club Coach Youth and Competition Coach.  For a complete listing of upcoming educational events – check out their individual websites.
