Coach Education Programming
Coaches are vital to ensuring curlers of all ages, stages and abilities can develop their curling skills to fulfill their own personal aspirations in the sport. Trained and certified curling coaches help create safe and welcoming environments and play a key role in the implementation of curling’s Long Term Curler Development Framework. (LTCD)
Curling Canada is a partner of the Coaching Association of Canada’s (CAC) National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) to train and certify curling coaches. Curling Canada works with our Member Associations to deliver education programming. Coaches learn how to coach the level of athlete they are planning to work with by entering either the Recreational or Competitive stream.
